Past events:

December 7 and 8, 2006: The Nutcracker with the Eugene Ballet and the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra

Forty five students from our school in addition to twenty other students from our area are currently in rehearsal for The Nutcracker with Diane Revie.  The parts for this performance include 12 children for the Party Scene, 12 Baby Mice, 4 Soldiers, 12 Angels, 8 Lady Bugs, and 9 dancers for the Dragon.  Eight advanced dancers will be dancing in the corps de ballet in "Waltz of the Flowers."

Performances will be held at the Grand Junction High School Auditorium.

December 15, 16, and 17, 2006:  
The Nutcracker
with Aspen Sante Fe Ballet - Artistic Director, Tom Mossbrucker / Executive Director, Jean-Phillippe Malaty

Alex Kramer, 12 year old soloist, 2004 winner in the Youth America Grand Prix and 2006 winner of a Denver Ballet Guild Scholarship, will be dancing the lead role of Fritz in this Christmastime Ballet.

New Year's Eve 2006: Performance with the High Desert Opera Company - Artistic Director, James Werner.

The Studio Performing Company will be dancing to Opera Arias with the Opera Company's Accompaniment.

January 14, 2007,  3:00 to 4:30 p.m The Joffrey Summer Intensive Auditions will be held by Valerie Madonia at the Institute of Dancing Arts. The cost of this Audition Class will be $20.00.

January 18, 19, 20, 2007:  Performance for the National Music Educators Association.

The Studio Performing Company will be dancing a contemporary piece to percussion music by Carl Orff.  The NMEA will be hosting guests from around the United States at this conference.

This event will be held at the Broadmore Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Coming in 2008:   ARTISTIC DIRECTOR DIANE REVIE'S CELEBRATION OF 50 YEARS OF TEACHING AND SERVING THE COMMUNITY WITH DANCE.
