Congratulations
to our students for their dedication and hard work in “The
Nutcracker”, the programs for the nursing homes, and the New Years
Eve Gala with the High Desert Opera.
You all did an out-standing job! Great Dancing!!
On Sunday January 14th, the Auditions for the Joffrey
Summer Intensives were held in our school. Valerie Madonia will
direct the program in Milledgeville, Georgia; some students will
attend a program in Michigan and in New York.
We had about 40 students from Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico
attending this Audition Class with Valerie Madonia.
On March 2, 3, and 4, Stephanie Fiegel, Alex Kramer, Laura Lockwood, and Julia Williams attended the Denver Ballet Guild.
These students had Master Classes with Mr. Franco De Vita, and
attended a Performance of Aspen Santa Fe Ballet dancing Noir/Blanc

his category of 72
dancers. In
December Alex also danced the lead role of Fritz in “The Nutcracker”
with Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, in Aspen.
We are excited to announce that we have started to work on an
Original Story Ballet of the Dancing Princesses, Choreographed and
Directed by Diane Revie assisted by Annie Harshman. The cast will be
posted soon. The date
of this production will be announced later in the year.
All of our ballet students will be in this Ballet and you
will be responsible for a nominal costume material fee.
